• 67% Syrah, 19% Mourvédre, 9% Grenache Noir, 4% Touriga Nacional • Vineyard located in the south-western part of the Paarl region, with vine age varying from 5-21 years • Decomposed granite and clay shale, with the ocean about 18 miles away • Hand harvested • Partially destemmed and then fermented in small open top tanks • Aged for 9 months in seasoned oak barrels and stainless-steel tanks • Then the various batches were blended and the wine was aged for a further 6 months
