Anas-Cëtta, also known as Nascetta, is an autochthonous historical variety native to the Novello commune. Once highly popular in the 19th century, Nascetta is the only indigenous white grape variety from the Langhe region. Elvio Cogno is credited with saving this grape from extinction in the early 1990s, and his commitment to preserving its heritage has brought it back to prominence. What makes this wine unique is its rare, distinctive character—combining freshness, complexity, and a rich aromatic profile that reflects the terroir of Novello.
