DESCRIPTION
DESCRIPTION
Domaine Denis Race is a family domaine in Chablis, and Montmains is one of the appellation's best-known Premier Cru vineyards. This is the 2024.
Chablis is Chardonnay grown on Kimmeridgian limestone, full of tiny fossilized oyster shells. Expect white stone fruit, subtle floral notes and that signature mineral, salty edge. The palate is well balanced, with weight and a pleasant softness, and a crisp, persistent finish. Montmains sits on the left bank of the Serein river and tends to give a lean, saline, very precise style of Chablis.
Serve it chilled, around 50F. Oysters are the classic match, but it is also excellent with scallops, sole, sushi or roast chicken. Premier Cru Chablis at a very fair price.
Bottle size: 750ml
