Clos Saint Denis is a famous Grand Cru of Burgundy, located in the Côte de Nuits. It is a particular climate of the Morey Saint-Denis appellation. The Clos Saint Denis Grand Cru 2016 from Domaine Amiot Servelle is a very beautiful vintage, full of finesse and elegance.
The vineyard is located at the heart of the appellation and stretches across it from east to west. The wine is always somewhat closed when young and during maturing. The nose reveals some nearly stony hints sometimes called "flint". It is characterised by its restraint and its freshness.
