D.R. Stephens 'Moose Valley' Cabernet Sauvignon 2017

Our 2017 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon shows the warmth of the growing season by showcasing a glorious aroma of juicy and ripe black and blue fruits together with a touch of our signature Moose Valley Vineyard graphite and incense character. The palate is smooth and generous, gushing forth flavors of blueberry pie and black cherry jelly followed by tiers of violet, anise and milk chocolate. This wine is blended for immediate enjoyment, but as always, will gain in complexity with several years in bottle.

Sourced from our estate Moose Valley and Walther River Block vineyards. Each vineyard was picked in late September and fermented in separate lots, on their skins for 14-21 days, then pressed and aged in a varied selection of French oak barrels for 21 months. These lots were then combined and bottled unfined and unfiltered. 75% new French oak.
