The fruit aromas and flavors in this wine--red and yellow apples and pears, cooked and dried apples, toasted pears, and creamed bananas--creates drama. Yeastiness too is a factor with dough and baked brioche notes. The mouth is lighter and softer than the nose might suggest and there is a soft, lemon-pie note at the end. Drink now or in the next few years. Pale straw yellow, clean and brilliant. Fine bubbles with continuous beads and a persistent mousse. Displays delicate aromas of tropical fruit such as pineapple as well as citrus, grapefruit and lime. It is soft on the palate with elegant citrus notes. Well balanced and refreshing. It is an ideal apertifs and goes well with shellfish and white fish. Suitable accompaniment for sushi and sashimi or lightly spiced carpaccio.
