Christian Brothers Honey is the ultimate in smoothness, infusing pure natural Honey with the rich taste of Christian Brothers Brandy, distilled from premium grape varietals and aged in hand selected oak barrels. Enjoy straight, on the rocks, or in a variety of classic and easy to mix cocktails.
In 1882, the religious order of the Christian Brothers began distilling Brandy to profit the order's schools and programs. It began with the pot-still production method that is used to craft fine Cognacs and a dedication to quality, which continue to this day. Building on this strong tradition, Christian Brothers Brandy has become widely recognized for its tempting, fruity bouquet and soft, subtle texture, just as the Brothers made it in 1882. The Christian Brother's winery and neighboring distillery are located in the fertile San Joaquin Valley in California. The locally grown California grapes are of the finest varietals which contribute to the flavorful, light taste. Distilled in massive copper alembic stills, as well as efficient patent stills, the Brandies are aged a minimum of 2 to 6 years in hand-selected American white oak bourbon barrels. Oak aging imbues the Brandy with layers of well-balanced fruit flavors for a warm, lingering finish.
