DESCRIPTION
Just 7.15 hectares on a single clay-limestone hillside facing south-southeast, and all Merlot. The wine was created in 1998 and named for a former owner, Pierre-Bernard Guisez, known as Peby. Around 12,000 bottles a year. Dark, rich and textured, with blue fruit and boysenberry, violets and forest floor, and plenty of tannin. Made in a frankly modern style.
