This semi-sweetie is red wine through and through “ literally. Saperavi is one of the few red wine grape varieties that's actually red in the middle (whereas most red wines get their color exclusively from their grape skins). This is ripe and easygoing, with notions of plum, blueberry, forest floor and sweet spices. Nice concentration, too. Pair with grilled sausages, burgers and BBQ ribs.
