Château Lynch-Moussas is a classified growth in Pauillac, the Left Bank appellation known for structured, long-lived Cabernet Sauvignon.
Expect rocky, smoky and cool aromas with tobacco, roasted notes and fine fruit. On the palate it starts out accessible, then builds pressure, with crisp fruit and fine tannins. The finish is medium length, with cassis lingering at the back. It's a wine that improves with time in the glass, so don't rush it. With some bottle age it softens further and the savory notes come forward.
Decant it for an hour and serve around 62-64F in a Bordeaux glass. Pair it with steak, lamb or game. A good way to drink classified Pauillac for less than the headline names cost.
