Château Le Vieux Fort is located in Valeyrac, fifteen kilometers away from Lesparre
Medoc, North of Bordeaux right next to the Gironde estuary and the Atlantic Ocean.
The Bergey family has been managing the property since 1925. The vineyard is
divided in three plots, each one having it's own soil typicity offering a nice
complexity in the final blend. Some vines are planted on sand and gravels, some on
sand and clay and the last
