Château Larose Perganson is a red Bordeaux estate on the Left Bank, made in the classic structured style of the Médoc.
Expect a dark ruby color and a lively nose of fresh red fruit, strawberry, raspberry and redcurrant, with a floral lift. The palate is full and mouth-filling but balanced, with good structure. For the price, it gives you a real taste of the Médoc without the grand cru bill.
Open it about 30 minutes ahead and serve around 60-64F in a Bordeaux glass. Good with roast beef, lamb, duck or a mushroom dish. A dependable weeknight Bordeaux, and a smart choice for a dinner party when you need several bottles.
