Chateau Labegorce

Medium ruby-red color with a hint of purple at the rim. The aromas combine strawberry fruit & meaty notes, before opening to show bright red-cherry fruit & cedar. The palate is smooth & rounded with hints of raisined ripeness.

The wine is of mid-weight with a core of ripe red-cherry & licorice fruit. Smooth chocolate notes lead on to bitter coffee hints at the finish. Fine grainy tannins give good grip. Alcohol is balanced & juicy fresh fruit continues to the end of a long finish.
