DESCRIPTION
The Chateau has had Cru Bourgeois status since 1932 and this wine is a regular award winner. It is a blend of approx. 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon. Located on the higher terrain of Blaignan in the Medoc, the vines benefit from good drainage on clay-limestone soils.
As you would expect you get the roundness and richness of Merlot combined with the complexity and depth of Cabernet. Black, blue and red fruits with violets, licorice, green peppers and herbaceous, savoury minerality.
