DESCRIPTION
A fifth growth in Pauillac, owned by the Rothschilds of Mouton and made on the same estate. The 2016 is 62 percent Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a little Petit Verdot. Deep garnet-purple, with red fruit, cassis and kirsch, then blackberry and plum with violets, graphite and cedar pencil. Bright acidity, ripe tannins and a long finish. It will keep twenty years.
