Charles Krug Pinot Noir 2017

This Pinot Noir comes from the cool, foggy Carneros region where Burgundian-style varieties maintain their balance of acidity and ripeness. Aromas of cherry, vanilla, raspberry and hints of cocoa envelop flavors of black cherry and caramel.

An elegant example of Carneros Pinot Noir: lively, inviting and well balanced. Scents of strawberry, ripe plum and black cherry deliver consistent fruit flavors. Toasty oak and velvety tannins lead to a long finish...and a lasting impression.

This is a simple, smoky wine, earthy and brimming in a mix of compost and mint. Medium bodied and moderate in acidity, it's ripe and round.
