Sweet, lightly fizzy red from Emilia-Romagna, named for the year the Cavicchioli family started bottling. Brilliant ruby with a violet-tinged foam, fruity and floral on the nose, then ripe cherry, strawberry and raspberry. Sweet and easy, not serious, and better for it. Serve it cold with salami and antipasti, or with dessert.
