The wine is made 100% Sangiovese grapes. The wine obtained from the Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes of our property with the saignée method. Deep pink in color and reflections tending to ruby, the nose is fresh and floral with hints of violet and lilac accompanied by light notes of black cherry and pomegranate. In the mouth, it is full and elegant and well matches the olfactory notes of freshness and vivacity. A wine that is will suited to numerous preparations, it also pairs with fish and shellfish dishes.

Opened 1st bottle this evening. I thought the nose was bright with a summer flower aroma. Flavor of cherries with some slight orange on my palate. MY wife suggested 'lemony-orange' with lingering finish. We both r pleased we have 11 more btls.
