DESCRIPTION
Casterède is a historic Armagnac producer now run by sixth generation Florence. The VSOP is aged for eight years, twice the legal minimum, and is fruity and lightly spicy with notes of coconut, walnut and honey.
The spiced aroma suggests allspice, vanilla and nutmeg. The palate feels super light, opening with an herbaceous lilt that gives way to mouthwatering honey and vanilla, tapering off on hints of cedar, orange peel and clove.
