Merlot from the Upper Galilee, given extended skin contact after fermentation and fourteen months in French oak. Rich purple, with cassis, violets and bittersweet chocolate, full bodied and long. Coarsely filtered before bottling, so a little sediment is normal. Carmel is the largest kosher wine producer in the world.
