• Practicing Organic & Sustainable • 100% Cabernet Franc (Detert clone) • Detert Family Vineyards (Oakville AVA) • Originally planted in 1949, replanted in 1979 using cuttings from 1949 vines • Considered the first planting of Cabernet Franc in Napa Valley • Alluvial, Coombs gravelly loam; very deep, well-drained soils • Hand-harvested • Fermented in small stainless tanks with a combination of pumpover and punchdowns for 14 days • Aged 20 months in French oak (60% new) • 220 cases produced • 14% abv
