All round a nice wine. Dark fruits on the nose particularly plum and dark cherry. There are hints of dark currant through the mid range. Then strong hints of wood and tobacco in the end.
A well balanced red. An initial sweetness is rapidly batted away by robust dark fruits followed by a hint of grapefruit in an otherwise lightly dry finish.
A medium body, subtle but noticeable Malbec. Raspberry and mild rose notes with oak and a peppery finish. It honors its name!

Very excited I was able
Very excited I was able to find this particular wine for family reasons. It would have been comforting to receive updates on my order and expected ship dates, but overall very pleased. I plan to use this again.
