 Bruichladdich presents the next Black Art and brings the whisky magic back into play: "Decades have passed since this unpeated, magical elixir run out of the Victorian stills ..." To be exact: It was 26 years ago in 1994 when this new make was distilled that was then matured in casks of the Isle of Islay and waited for its destination. Adam Hannett, Head Distiller at Bruichladdich, has now batched the next cuvée from those casks, and the whisky will soon be available as the Black Art 8.1. The exact date has not yet been announced.

The current press release reveals a few details about whisky in the black bottle:
