Basil Hayden Straight Bourbon Toast

Basil Hayden Toast was released in the summer of 2021 as a permanent line extension for the brand. No, it's not a breakfast whiskey. Instead, it swaps out the rye in its mash bill for American-grown brown rice, and finishes parts of its blend in toasted barrels. Hence the name.

The 80-proof bourbon pours bright bronze in the glass and has aromas of toasted oak, fried fruit and rich maple syrup. It's round and mellow on the palate with more fruit and toasty barrel notes before finishing with sweet caramel and spice
