• 100% Nebbiolo from a vineyard, Gaja Principe in Neive, belonging to long-time friends of the Borgogno family who share their viticultural philosophy • Soil composition of solid gray marl alternating with layers of sand • 12-15 day maceration/fermentation with selected yeasts in 35 HL upright oak fermenters • Ages in large Slavonian oak cask (25HL) with maturation in bottle for an additional 6 months
