Backsberg Estate Cellars Backsberg Chenin Blanc 2021 (Case only)

This wine is clear and pale lemon in color. The nose is vegetal, with notes of stewed asparagus and stewed carrots. I also smell ripe cantaloupe, lime zest, a little green tea, and just a hint of pineapple and cotton candy.

The palate is oddly less bold than the nose, but citrus is prominent, along with lime zest, the vegetal qualities, and the green tea.
