• Armagnac distilled at Domaine de Jean-Bon in Toujouse, France • Appellation Bas-Armagnac Contrôlée • Cépages: Blend of Baco and Ugni Blanc (proportions unspecified) • Distilled in 2015 on a travelling alambic Armagnacais (short copper column still) • Aged in 400-liter French oak barrels for six years and bottled in 2022 • The nose offers complex aromas of pencil eraser, wet wildflowers, mushroom, tarragon, almond biscotti and sun-baked soil. Fans of rye will respond to a mid-palate of sharp herbs, dried apricot, flaxseed, and lemon zest. Dried bay leaf and eucalyptus have the final say on the finish. • 50% ABV (ABV may vary slightly lot to lot)
