DESCRIPTION

The 2020 Apothic Red is our first daringly original blend of California-grown red grapes. Zinfandel leads the blend with silky layers of blackberry, black cherry with a hint of black pepper. Syrah and Merlot deliver undercurrents of ripe blueberry, boysenberry and a soft, plush mouthfeel.

Cabernet Sauvignon adds more dimension with notes of black currant while bold tannins deliver a hint of intrigue. The finish is long and smooth with lingering notes of vanilla and mocha from the oak we selected for aging

I love this wine!!!! The price is right, the taste is smooth.......... A combination of merlot, shiraz and chardonnay. Doesn't burn your tummy and no red mask on my face. PERFECT. I have had many brands of Merlot, my favorite wine, but this is it!!! I only buy this now, and anyone that has it at my house, loves it too!!!! Find it at Lucky's and Nob Hill. I don't know where else you can buy it. Anywhere from 9 $9.99 to 13.00 or 15.00. All depends when the store sells it. Nancy Edwards San Jose

One of my favorite wines for any occasion. It is rich and fruity, not too dry or sweet. It can satisfy a variety of wine drinkers, from those who like a bold wine to those who like their wine to be more subtle.

This is a fabulous blend for the money. Its good enough for company and priced well enough for us to drink as our "house" wine. I love the consistency of Apothetic Red. Its always good. As others have written it is smooth and tasty with flavors of Shiraz and Merlot. Highly recommend
