- Made with two varieties of Calabrian black anise seeds and tops combined with a proprietary blend of rare spices
- Neutral grain spirit distilled in an alembic copper pot still
- Aromas of apricot, star anise, lemon, and candied fennel on the nose; the palate displays mint, star anise, angelica root, and cacao with a finish that calls to brighter, candied fruit notes of lemon and Indian mukhwas candy
- Non-chill filtered; 30% ABV Fratelli Caffo has been distilling this Calabrian anisette since the 1950s from two varieties of local black anise. This incredible liqueur shows unparalleled delicacy and nuance, showcasing the typically polarizing flavor of anise in a particularly inviting composition
