The wine has so far scored a whopping 97 points in the Decanter World Awards + Best Value.
The wine is based on Graciano grapes, which is an exciting grape that thrives in northern Spain and is especially grown in the Navarra and Rioja wine regions. It is usually a grape that is mixed with other grapes (eg Tempranillo grapes) to add more concentration to the wine, better bouquet and nicer color. It is rare that wines are produced exclusively with 100% Graciano grapes.
This is connected to the fact that it is a difficult grape. But if it's done right, it's a grape that gives fantastic concentration of fruit and great complexity. The Graciano grape has a unique character that makes wines with Graciano grapes stand out from the monotonous wines with more well-known grape types. After the classic vinification, the wine is aged for 4 months in oak barrels
