The AE Dor 'Number One' Albane Cognac from the Grande Champagne

The AE Dor 'Number One' Albane Grande Champagne Cognac is nothingWineWine ChateauA.E. DorA.E. Dor ChateauA.E. Dor but the best. Produce made from the premier cru of the Cognac region - Grande Champagne. As the name suggests, it's created from eaux-de-vie from a single estate - that of Albane. However, the number ‘one’ labeled was originally reserved for the 1893 Age d’Or, but the number has been ‘recycled’.

As the label on the bottle stated, the Cognac is labelled as "Réserve Familiale". This shows that the Cognac is a blend that uses very old eaux-de-vie from the Cognac house's or the family's "Paradis" cellars, the place where the oldest and most valuable barrels are stored. Due to the sparsity of the older eaux-de-vie, the amount of bottles produced is limited.

How To Serve

The Cognac is the perfect digestif serving alongside with a side of chocolate or accompanied with dessert.

Presentation of The Decanter

Comes in a classic style Cognac bottle and sophisticated presentation box. A great addition to any collection of Cognac.

Heritage of AE Dor

The vintage eaux-de-vie of A.E. Dor are one the few that are left from before phylloxera struck the region in 1874. Adapting to current developments in the cognac industry and the luxury market in general, the company, today headed by Jacques Riviere, have launched a new range of products that target a wider and more international group of consumers.
