DESCRIPTION
Quimera is Achaval-Ferrer's blend of the five Bordeaux varieties grown in Mendoza, and the proportions move each year; the 2020 is 48 percent Malbec with Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot and a little Petit Verdot. Blackberry and violet with a truffled note, then a full-bodied palate of concentrated blue fruit, peppery spice and silky tannin, with toasted oak behind.
