When you first uncork the Johnnie Walker Ultimate 18 the rich amber color and delicate peaty fragrance immediately announce, “This is going to be great!” Your first taste has all of the impact and subtleness of an 18 year old single malt but, within a second, the true pleasure comes from the unbelievable complexity created by combining eighteen different 18-year old whiskeys into a single blend. Outstanding! Definitely worth the price of admission. Speaking of price, I have been a repeat customer at Wine Chateau.com for a number of years.
