IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS

It's always happy hour when you're enjoying Red Clay Côtes du Rhône from France.
This is the one of the most popular wines from Cotes du Rhone, also this wine has been getting more popular over the past year.More affordable than the typical ...
This wine is the finest Cotes du Rhone to date. A deep ruby/purple wine with lots of cassis, kirsch, pepper, and even an intriguing floral note, the wine is medium to full-bodied, silky smooth, and a truly delicious, hedonistic and intellectually satisfying wine that is a remarkable bargain!
From a challenging vintage, the 2013 Cotes du Rhone has turned out well. While it won’t make me forget the 1985 (the first wine I bought by the case), it does show the silkiness of structure imparted by Guigal’s extended elevage. It’s medium in body, with cherry-berry fruit and hints of leather and garrigue. Bites of acid and tannin punctuate the finish, but overall, it’s a charming wine to drink over the next few years.
