Williams Selyem is one of the wineries that put Russian River Valley Pinot Noir on the map. This is its appellation bottling, from the 2024 vintage, made from several vineyards across the valley.
The Russian River Valley is cooled by fog from the Pacific, which keeps Pinot Noir bright and fresh. Expect red cherry, raspberry and cola, a little forest floor and baking spice, and a silky texture. It's young, so give it air or a few years.
Serve it slightly cool, around 58-62F, in a wide Burgundy glass. Good with salmon, roast chicken, duck or mushroom dishes. A sought-after name that's well worth having on hand.
