IT'S ALL IN THE DETAILS

The Gran Reserva Blue Label is vinified only in the years that the crops have been considered extraordinary. The grape for the production of this wine has its origin in five different lots from the Maipo Valley. The 42% of Cabernet Franc comes from the Hacienda Chada. The 27% of Cabernet Sauvignon of the final mixture originates in the vineyard called Esmeralda, of decomposed granite soil. From this same vineyard is obtained the 7% of component Syrah. However 5% of Cabernet Sauvignon is of the lot called El Mirador, where soils are stony francs. The last component that gives origin to this exceptional wine, it is a 19 % of Syrah clon 300, planted by the river, where this Syrah reaches its ideal maturity in early May.

Black fruit notes such as blackberry and black cherry; floral notes such as violets; spicy notes of white pepper and also subtle aromas of black olive. On the palate, the Cabernet Sauvignon from the El Mirador series reects the soil characteristics, with a pronouncedattack, aromas of cherry, blackcurrant (and an important sand presence). And also it has great structure (round tannins present) given by the presence of sharp stones and gravel. Flavorsome onthe palate, balanced and with good persistence (volcanic soil minerality gives for good persistence on the palate). The soil where the Syrah is located, gives for full-bodied, velvety wines (clay presence), with good persistence and a degree of minerality. Inour view, the Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc varieties have contributed considerably.

The Blue Label of Tarapacá in considered an authentic Gran Reserva, this Blend delivers notes of spiced dry fruits provided by the Cabernet Franc, allied to floral notes of Syrah and black notes provided by the Cabernet Sauvignon.

It is a wine of great structure with silky tannins and great persistence in the mouth. Soft plum red. Scented aromas with wild red fruit, hints of herbs and the bottom of a cabernet of the spicy Maipo. Mouth of medium to high structure, slight astringency, good fruity depth and rich texture.
