James Suckling Aromas of blueberries, ash, blackberries, violets and brambleberries. Medium-to full-bodied with fine, polished tannins that melt into the wine. Lovely length and mouth feel.
Wine Spectator Shows a seductive aroma of blueberry pie with flavors to match, plus notes of concentrated dark plum and spiced cherry. The plush and well-spiced finish is loaded with rich violet and chocolate mousse.
Tasting Panel Inky violet color. On the nose, it is expressive, flowery and fresh, with hints of cherry and vanilla. The wine has subtle tannins. It's elegant, refined, delicate and energetic.
