Purple/reds with a clear meniscus and copious stained legs.Aromatic cherry fruit with nuanced juniper and oregano were excellent.The medium-bodied red wine showed mouthwatering acidity and a firm saturation of tannin, a bit racy, managed to deliver flavors reflective of the aromas.
Finished long, tart and showing furtive flavors of eucalyptus, pomegranate, a bright spiciness, and a well-integrated 13.5% alcohol. Varietals were Sangiovese, Merlot, and
Paired perfectly with my cheese manicotti.
