Victorious Vilafonté

I came across one of Vilafonté’s offerings about ten years ago. If you’re reading this, you know that when you belong to a wine club or frequent the same online or brick and mortar store, your palate is formed by what’s available to you. There’s a lot of great wines in the world, and you want to experience as many as life allows. Vilafonté was one of those passing experiences that I wished I had done more to repeat. I came across this Vilafonté jewel recently and like music, it brought back to that first time. This South African vineyard has expressed the best of Bordeaux and Napa along with the power and terroir of this rich region’s fruit. A must have.
