The Gonzo Combat Rouge is a rather unusual field blend of Pinot Noir, Cabernet Franc and Viognier which are co-fermented with whole bunch fermentation.
The results is a beautifully supple yet plush and ripe red wine with sweet, spicy raspberry and cherry fruit. We’ve found it drinks best slightly chilled on a warm evening.
