This Pinot Noir is estate grown at our ranch in the Russian River Valley. These vineyards make a lovely and elegant Pinot Noir. The cool climate and abundance of fog is the perfect growing condition for Pinot. Cranberry, cherry, tobacco, leather, toast, strawberry, smoke.
In 2016 the Toad Hollow team sought out a growing region that exemplified our standard for a juicy, mouth-filling Pinot Noir. We felt that the flavor profile from Monterey County best matched our requirements for an engaging example of the varietal. The 2016 vintage is considered one of the region's best for Pinot Noir.
