The Chook Shiraz Viognier is sourced from the premium grape growing region of McLaren Vale in South Australia. A Mediterranean climate with warm; dry summers and cool; wet winters makes this region well suited to growing high quality Shiraz grapes. Bright aromas of red cherry; berries and lifted floral notes with hints of licorice and spice. Generously loaded with red fruits; the palate is balanced by fine; supple tannins and lingering spice notes. A soft; round shiraz with great fruit length; generosity; and drinkability.
