All Napa Valley Cabernet, from a house that has worked with small independently owned vineyards across the valley floor and hillsides since 2011. Inky garnet, with lifted dark cherry and pomegranate over cedar, cocoa, black tea and pencil shavings. Black plum and cinnamon on a viscous palate, the tannins lush and the acidity firm enough to carry it. Good now, better in a few years, and it will hold seven or eight.
