Tabor Sauvignon Blanc Adama 2013

Sauvignon Blanc is a grape variety which displays unique characteristics in the Israeli climate. Abundant in bright citrus fruit flavors and aromas such as grapefruit and lemon underlayered with tropical fruit hints of guava and passionfruit. This wine combines a soft crisp body and distinct flavors, making it an ideal drinking wine on warm summer days. The wine is clean and refreshing and leaves a pleasant enduring finish.This Sauvignon Blanc plot is 30 years old and is one of the country’s older vineyard blocks, if not the oldest. This plot receives extra care and attention. The vineyard is planted in rich chalky soil in the Kfar Tabor area and its old, goblet-shaped vines are treated with meticulous care and limited irrigation. These low-yielding vines produce the best Sauvignon Blanc grapes in the country. This warm region is unique to growing Sauvignon Blanc and is the main factor influencing the richness in flavor of this particular wine.
