From a producer known for unusual spiced rums, here's an 11-yearold whiskey flavored with “double smoked” barrel staves. The aroma suggests brown sugar, marzipan and butterscotch. That brown sugar is echoed on the palate, along with oak and plenty of baking spice. The finish is long and a little hot, a cinnamon tingle dancing on the tip of the tongue.
This American Whiskey was aged 11 years and barrel finished with smoked oak staves. Smoldering campfire notes of American wood and a buttery mouthfeel are balanced by the bold and lasting finish.
