A certain waxiness appears on the nose, amid citrus and apple peel notes. The palate is rounded in texture, and here the waxy notes attain that notion of fresh honeycomb along with a certain pithy bitterness that provides a wonderful counterbalance to the rich, almost oily mouthfeel.
This is a big, rounded, full-flavored white that really needs hearty food to shine. Lovely now, it is certain to evolve.
