Barolo DOCG ˜Ciabot Tanasio' offers superb value from cru parcels, ready to enjoy now or cellar for the future.This wine is a bright ruby shade, unveiling an intense aroma of red fruits intertwined with subtle hints of leather, spices, plum, liquorice, and cocoa. On the palate, it dances with vibrant fruit flavours supported by firm tannins, invigorating acidity, and a lingering, persistent finish.
The organically farmed vineyards for Barolo DOCG 'Ciabot Tanasio' (Valentino, Piantà and Pernanno) are located in Castiglione Falletto on clay soil. The grapes were hand harvested from vines aged between 10 - 60 years old. Once at the winery, the grapes were fermented and macerated in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks took place followed by at least 24 months of aging in large oak barrels. The wine was bottled without filtration.
