Royal Standard Dry Rum is made by blending fresh, unaged rums from Trinidad, a 3-year old rum from Barbados, and a light pot still rum from Jamaica. Fruity with a pleasant dose of funk, effusive aromas and very well balanced.
Caribbean rums are synonymous with old stories of pirates, revelry and sun soaked islands surrounded by crystal clear water. Caribbean rum producers have spent centuries perfecting the art of distilling, aging and blending rums. Equally, if not more important than aging, the rum is meticulously blended to obtain a final personality.

I first found this rum at a repeal day fundraiser at a tiki bar in .dc. It makes a perfect dry daiquiri. A dai. that is not too sweet or one dimensional because of the aged pot still from Barb. and light funk from Jam.
