2014 Round Pond Sauvignon Blanc a white grape, is a vital member of the family of Cabernet. Indeed, cabernet sauvignon is the genetic offspring of sauvignon blanc and cabernet franc, and they all often grow well in the same locales. While it is a prime terroir for red grapes, Napa also has the perfect climate and gravelly soils to produce excellent sauvignon blanc, as this wine demonstrates. The sunny Napa weather gives the wine its tropical notes of passion fruit and papaya, as well as crisp acidity flavored by notes of lemon and lime. The wine is vibrant and full of energy with both crispness and richness. A perfect Napa white.
