• 100% Rossese from the Fulavin cru in Soldano • The vines are approximately 50 years old • Soils comprised of shale, clay, and limestone • Vines are bush-trained, known in Italy as alberello • 50-60% whole cluster maceration and fermentation for 12 – 15 days • Aging first in stainless steel for 4 months followed by 8 months in acacia oak casks prior to bottling
